Usap-usapan ngayon sa social media ang reaksyon ng ina ni Charice Pempengco o Jake Zyrus na si Raquel Pempenco sa performance ni Morisette Amon sa concert ni David Foster.

Si Charice Pempengco na kilala na ngayon sa tawag na Jake Zyrus ay unang nakilala nang sumali siya sa "Little Big Star". Mula noon ay biglang umusbong ang kanyang career. Lumitaw siya sa sikat na show sa Amerika na "The Oprah Winfrey Show” at “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” noong 2007 at 2008.
Naging guest rin si Charice sa show ng iconic singer na si David Foster na kamakailan lang ay nagakaroon ng concert. Marami ang naka-miss sa naging performance noon ni Charice at isa na rito ang kanyang inang si Raquel Pempengco.
Sa kanyang post sa Facebook ay naglabas ng saloobin si Raquel matapos niyang mapanood ang performance ni Morisette sa concert ni David. Ayon kay Raquel wala raw makakapalit sa boses ni Charice dahil isa raw ito sa legendary singer sa Pilipinas.
Hindi man niya pinangalanan ay tila nagpahiwatig rin si Raquel na tila hindi niya nagustuhan ang naging performance ni Morisette. Wala raw goosebumps o standing ovation sa kanyang performance.

Si Raquel sumikat dahil sa anak nyang si Charice. Ngayon wala na si Charice, wala na ring Raquel. Laos na si Jake, at si Raquel ay KSP na. Their shining glory is over. Huwag na silang makisawsaw sa tagumpay ng ibang tao.

ReplyDeleteOnly Charice Pempengco can own her voice and no one can take that away from her.But Jake Zyrus is a living reminder that she was long gone now.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't matter what Charice did in the past. The past is past. She choose to be Jake. Charice is long gone. No more fame. Sadly it will never be the same. Jake is now have to create his own fame. Her only chance to become well-known was with David as Charice.

ReplyDeleteCharice or Jake hindi maganda ang boses. Naaawa lang si Oprah sa kanya dahil sa history niya. Morrisette is way much better than Char/jake.
ReplyDeleteOprah may have introduced Charice but David was the one who cast the light on her for the world to see. I myself did not know Charice existed until she came out in one of David’s Starmaker shows. So, Raquel, show some gratitude and respect.
