Veteran headwriter and creative consultant Suzette Doctolero recently opened up about her touching encounter with Shuvee Etrata during the GMA Gala 2025 held last August 2 at the Marriott Hotel in Pasay City.
In a heartfelt Facebook post, Suzette shared how she came across the former Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition housemate and now Sparkle artist, and how a simple conversation quickly turned into an emotional moment that left a lasting impression on her.

Sobrang naka-touch at naka-relate ako,” wrote Suzette.
During their short catch-up, Suzette praised Shuvee for her perseverance and success, especially with her growing number of endorsements:
The simple statement moved Shuvee to tears, and according to Suzette, the actress became too emotional to respond right away. Trying to lighten the mood, Suzette jokingly teased Shuvee about fellow Sparkle artist Anthony Constantino, which drew laughter from the young star.
But what stood out most for Suzette was Shuvee’s authenticity.
“Pero alam ninyo, naging instant fan ako ni Shuvee that night.
Totoong tao. Walang pagpapanggap. Walang wall.
Suzette ended her post with high praise for Shuvee, saying she deserves every bit of success she’s achieving:
Shuvee currently stars as Veshdita in Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre, a show written by Suzette Doctolero herself—making their recent exchange even more meaningful.
