Vice Ganda showed his full support for Awra Briguela amid criticisms over using the pronoun “her.”

On July 17, Awra shared on Instagram her gratitude to Vice Ganda, whom she considers a major reason why she was able to finish high school.
Vice commented on Awra’s post, giving her an empowering message:
“Congratulations!!!! Never mind the noise. Focus on your win. Love u!” said Vice.

Awra also replied with love and appreciation:
“Thank you so much My Lovely Muder, I wouldn’t even be here if it weren’t for you. I promise I’ll keep focusing on the love and the people who truly matter just like you taught me. The rest? They’re just background noise. I love you so much My Lovely Muder.”
Earlier, Sir Jack Argota’s comment went viral online when he questioned ABS-CBN News calling Awra “her” on an art card about her graduation.
Sir Jack wrote in his Facebook post:
“Anong her? Good luck bro!”
Despite these criticisms, Awra chose to focus on her achievements and the people who genuinely love and support her, just like Vice Ganda.
