Actress Elisse Joson has confirmed that she and McCoy de Leon have ended their relationship for good after “holding on for as long as they could,” two years after McCoy confirmed their reconciliation.

On Friday, July 25, Elisse shared a heartfelt statement on Instagram alongside a clip featuring her favorite memories with McCoy and their daughter, Felize.
“My biggest dream in life has always been to build a family I could call mine. A home. That dream shaped me. It grounded me,” she began.
Elisse shared that throughout their beautiful five years together, she held onto her dream with everything she had, promising to love, fight, and stay for their family.

“And truthfully, we both tried. We both held on for as long as we could. But now, we’re learning to let go,” she continued. “Together, we’re releasing that dream. So we can finally allow a new kind of peace, growth, and healing to enter.”
Despite their breakup, the Pinoy Big Brother alum clarified that what they had was real and that their greatest gift is Felize.
“And letting go doesn’t mean we failed. Because what we had was real. And it gave us the greatest gift… Our Felize. There are moments when she wraps her arms around us and says, ‘My family belongs to me.’ And she will always be right.”
Elisse emphasized that they will always be a family for Felize, regardless of how life changes. She added that her statement was meant to honor their relationship and give space for both their healing.
“No matter how life changes, we will always belong to her. Her mommy. Her daddy. Her family. That will never ever change. We’re sharing this to honor what was. To give space for healing, for both of us and for the lives we’re choosing from here on.”
She ended her emotional message by asking for kindness and respect, stating:
“No need for speculations, no assumptions. This wasn’t easy for either of us. We simply ask for kindness and respect as this story, and how it’s remembered, may one day shape what our daughter believes about love, family, and letting go.”
Elisse and McCoy met in Pinoy Big Brother in 2016. While their relationship had its ups and downs, they welcomed their daughter Felize in 2021 and reconciled in 2023 before finally deciding to part ways this year.
