Anthony Taberna visits ABS-CBN building for the last time emotional farewell

Broadcast journalist Anthony “Ka Tunying” Taberna stirred emotions online after posting about his visit to the ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center, bidding farewell to the iconic building that shaped much of his broadcasting career.

It is worth noting that the building and the Millennium Transmitter are set for demolition following ABS-CBN’s sale of part of its Quezon City property to Ayala Land Inc.

On Friday, July 18, Ka Tunying shared photos on Instagram of his sentimental visit, where he met several of his former colleagues.

In his caption, Taberna wrote:

“Nostalgic ang pagbabalik.”

He continued:

“Ang aking pangalawang tahanan sa loob ng mahigit 23 taon. Ito ang RADYO PATROL #28 Anthony Taberna ABSCBN DZMM!”

Taberna’s post resonated with supporters who fondly recall his fearless commentaries and long-running radio and TV programs.

Anthony Taberna was a staple voice on DZMM for over two decades until he left ABS-CBN following its shutdown in 2020.
