Ryza, who is happily in a relationship with her partner, cinematographer Miguel Antonio Cruz, explained why she isn’t rushing to walk down the aisle just yet. For her, building a strong and lasting relationship is more important than having a grand wedding ceremony.
“‘Yung wedding, event lang po siya for me. Pero ‘yung patitibayon n’yo ‘yung foundation ng pagsasama n’yo, for me ‘yon po ‘yung mas importante,” she said.
The actress emphasized that marriage is a sacred vow, and without a strong foundation between partners, the relationship may not last despite the ceremony.

“Kasi ang marriage naman po, any age pwede kayong magpakasal. Pero kung hindi naman gano’ng katibay and magpapakasal kayo and maghihiwalay kayo, sayang.”
Ryza added:
“Sayang naman po ‘yung vows na sinabi n’yo kay God kung hindi n’yo naman gagawin.”
For her, what truly matters is the certainty and strength of their bond, no matter what challenges come their way.
“Mas importante po sa akin na sigurado ako, na kami. Kahit sino pa ‘yung dumating sa buhay namin, kung matibay kami, walang makakasira.”
