Veteran actress Claudine Barretto has opened up about the emotional pain she felt after not being invited to the wedding of her niece, Claudia Barretto.

In a candid interview on Morly Alinio’s YouTube show “MORLY ALINIO (ITO ANG TONDO),” Claudine shared her disappointment and sadness over being excluded from the special event.

“I wanted to be there. Masakit. Favorite ko eh,” said Claudine, referring to Claudia, whom she considers her favorite among the children of her sister Marjorie Barretto.

The actress also revealed that she was the one who gave Claudia her very first Rolex and Cartier watches—a testament to how close they once were.

Aside from these luxury gifts, Claudine shared that she has always made it a point to give special presents during important milestones in the lives of her nieces and nephews, such as weddings and childbirths.

“’Yun lang 'yung gusto kong ibigay sana, but you know, it was a happy event daw. Ang pinaka-importante lang sa akin, ‘yung masaya ‘yung pamangkin ko,” she added.
