Kapamilya actor Enchong Dee revealed that he didn’t expect his viral TikTok post––a sweet nod to Erich Gonzales using the hit song “Multo” by Cup of Joe––to blow up online.
In an interview with Bianca Gonzalez, Enchong clarified that the video, which now has over 23 million views, wasn’t personally uploaded by him.
“It wasn’t me who posted it,” ani Enchong. “It was my social media team.”
The trending TikTok featured a throwback reel of Enchong and Erich together, joining the emotional “Multo” trend that’s often used by netizens to remember their TOTGA (The One That Got Away).

Enchong said it was simply a way to show support to his longtime friend and former love team partner, especially during the time a viral photo of Erich with the Lorenzo family circulated online.
“It was a very timely post,” he recalled. “It was posted to show support to Erich and her family—without me realizing that it’s gonna blow up that way.”
He admitted he wasn’t even aware that the song “Multo” had become a trend related to past love or TOTGAs.
“They didn’t even tell me,” he laughed. “Hindi ko nga alam na ‘yung kanta pala na ‘yun is for the people na TOTGA natin.”
As the video gained traction, many fans began speculating about a possible reunion project for EnRich (Enchong + Erich), but the actor was quick to set the record straight.
“People were messaging me thinking we had a reunion project. But no––we just have a deep friendship and mutual respect.”
He shared that despite the years, their bond remains strong.
“Meron kaming silent communication... kahit magtitinginan lang kami, gets na namin. Up to now, the clairvoyance is still working between us.”
Although Erich is currently on a showbiz hiatus, Enchong promised full support when she chooses to return.
“I respect her privacy. Right now, she wants to focus on her family and I fully love and support that,” he said.
“One day, she’ll come back with an amazing project and I’ll be there. That’s the kind of friendship that we have.”
Currently, Enchong stars in the Philippine adaptation of It’s Okay to Not Be Okay where he plays Vincent, streaming on iWant, Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, Jeepney TV, A2Z, TV5, and Netflix.
