Other departments have already started laying off employees. The company has since been in bad shape financially after the first shutdown in May. The additional cease-and-desist orders yesterday just made it worse.”

Narito naman ang ilan sa kanyang mga tweets:

“While they were grilling our bosses at the hearing today, we were told at past noon that there will be an emergency meeting.
“You will hear a lot of bad news today,” my boss warned. And bad news it is: ABS-CBN’s Current Affairs division will temporarily STOP production.”

“This means we will no longer work and release new content online or any other platforms in the meantime. Huge pay cut. Other benefits remain. Technically, we are still employed. But we all ask the same question: Until when?”

“Other departments have already started laying off employees. The company has since been in bad shape financially after the first shutdown in May. The additional cease-and-desist orders yesterday just made it worse.”

“What’s next for us? Honestly, I don’t know. I ask myself the same question every day since May, with the hope that everything’s going to be okay. It isn’t. I suspect this is going to be a long battle for the network, and I am just one of the wounded.

Why am I saying all these? I want the Congress to know that while they are going circles persecuting ABS-CBN for ludicrous accusations, there are people like me whose hopes and dreams they are killing. And yes, this is personal.”

My heart goes out to the other affected employees who have families to feed. We will remember this moment in history together. We will remember the names of the congressmen who did this. We will hold them accountable.

FYI: The affected shows are UKG, Kuha Mo, Rated K, SOCO, Matanglawin, Sports U, My Puhunan, #NoFilter, Mission Possible, Failon Ngayon, and DocuCentral. News operations remain for TV Patrol, TeleRadyo, and ABS-CBN News Digital”
